Syndicate Bank invites applications for the post of Specialist Officers from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination for Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and holding a valid Score card issued by IBPS.

Syndicate Bank has announced recruitment of 25 Specialist Officers (SO) for SO CWE (Mar 2012) Qualifiers satisfying additional eligibility criteria as mentioned.

The candidate should apply online through website www.syndicatebank.in.

Candidate should have a valid e-mail id and it should be the same as stipulated in the online application for the above exam.

As a first step, candidate should take out print-out of challan from page 08 of the detailed advertisement on their official website.

Against the above-said challan, the candidate should make the payment of fees in any of the Syndicate branches on or before September 18, 2012. Once the payment of fees is made, the concerned branch will give him/her a Transaction No. /Scroll No.

Offline Mode:

It is also very simple procedure, applicant first need to submit application form online mode. After this applicant need to take print out of payment challan form and on 2nd day working day(after online registration) go to any State Bank of India branch and deposit fee in cash mode. Receipt required at the time of written test and personal interview.

Age: 

Minimum age for Indian Overseas Bank clerical post is 18 (eighteen) and candidates should not be crossed 28 (twenty eight) years as on 1st Aug, 2012.  (Age relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC and +10 years for PWD).

Application Fee: 

Rs. 100 for General and OBC cast and if you belongs to SC/ST/PWD have to pay only Rs. 80.

Educational qualifications :

If you applying with Higher Secondary Certificate, minimum passing marks for General category candidates is 65% (sixty five percentage) and 60% for reserved category candidates.

OR

If you applying with banking diploma certificate. Minimum passing percentage decided by bank is 50% (fifty percentage) for general and 45% (forty five) for other. But diploma certificate must be recognised by State Govt/ Central government or UT Administration.

OR

If candidates applying with graduation degree. (Min % for General cast is 50% and 45% for other). It should be recognised by UGC.

IBPS Score Card Must Require:

Minimum total weighted score (TWS) for general category candidates : 120 (one hundred and twenty) and 105 (one hundred and five) for SC/ST/OBC and PWD.

Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, has decided to introduce a Common Written Examination (CWE) to be conducted by Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) for recruitment of Officers in Group A and Group B. A total of 82 Regional Rural Bank (RRBs) will participate in the Recruitment Process.

Groups for Common Written Exam (CWE)

Officers in Group A will include Junior Management Grade Scale I, Middle Management Grade Scale II (with 1 to 2 years experience), Middle Management Grade Scale III (with 5 years experience), and Group B which includes Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRBs.

Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualification for recruitment in RRB in each group is Graduation except in Officer Scale II wherein degree in specialised area is required. The other eligibility conditions (Like Knowledge of Local Language) and the exam pattern will differ as per each scale.

How to Apply

IBPS will notify the Common Written Examination, stipulating minimum eligibility criteria in terms of age, qualification and experience (if any) as well as the modalities of conduct of CWE. Candidates will be advised to specify any one centre from the list of centres notified by IBPS from which he/she would appear for CWE.

The application fee for Officer (Multipurpose) and Officer (Scale I, II & III) will be Rs 350 and Rs 450 respectively for General Category candidates. Fee for reserved (SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen) category will be Rs 50.
