EAMCET Entrance ( Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test )
EAMCET is one of the competitive exam abbreviated as ‘ Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test’. This is a common entrance exam for all the intermediate students inorder to get seats in various government and private colleges offering the courses in various streams. EAMCET is now being conducted by JNTUniversity on the behalf of APSCHE.
Lakhs of students appear every year and the competition is tough and the better rank will allow the student to choose the course in best colleges of their choice based on the availability of seats.
EAMCET - Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test, Andhra Pradesh is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad every year in May on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
EAMCET test is taken by a large number of engineering and medical aspirants in the state.
The Entrance test is of 3 hours duration and the question paper consists of a total of 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry.
All questions will be of objective type (multiple choices) only and each question carries one mark. The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (40 out of a total 160).
