Delhi blast, Police, NIA hunt for clues,

New Delhi: Two days after the Delhi High Court blast case, there has been no breakthrough in the probe. The investigations into the Delhi High Court blast seem to be going nowhere despite 5 detentions and two e-mails claiming responsibility for the terror attack.

After the HUJI e-mail originating from kisthwar claiming responsibility, a new mail allegedly from the Indian Mujahideen has emerged. They too are taking responsibility for the blast. The Delhi Police have announced a RS 5 lakh award for anyone who can provide a lead.

The death toll from Wednesday's blast now stands at 13. Two of the 91 injured remain in a critical condition. The National investigation Agency, which is spearheading the probe into the blasts has taken five people into questioning so far.The National Investigation Agency zeroed in on Global Internet Cafe at Malik Market in Kishtwar as the place from where the email was sent.

The Pakistan-based HuJI had sent the email to two television channels demanding that the hanging of 2001 parliament attack convict Afzal Guru be immediately repealed.

The records of mails and details of all those who sent it are being scanned, they added.

Security agencies including National Investigation Agency (NIA) are looking into the mail but serious apprehensions were being raised whether this was a genuine mail or a prank being played by somebody.

Sources said as of now nothing was being left to chance and the origin of the mail was being ascertained and, if need be, the service provider Google would also be contacted.

However, the mail does not resemble the earlier mails sent by Indian Mujahdieen which has claimed responsibilities for blasts in Varanasi and Delhi.
